Switch from Centero Home to Centero Home NXT


=> Preparation for Centero Home NXT: Save configuration and backup in the Centero Home app and load it in the Centero Home NXT app.

 

Part 1: Save configuration

1. Open settings  .
2. Select [Account]
(log in if necessary).


3. Select [Configurations].


4. Select [Save current configuration].


 

5. Set password.
(Please remember the password, it cannot be reset).

6. Set the name.

7. Set a tick at "Save all devices".

8. Finally, select [Save configuration].

Example:

Password => 12345678

Name => V6221128
 

Important: Only check the box for "Save all devices".
 


 

9. You return to the overview of the saved configurations. Return to the start screen.

 

Part 2: Gateway Backups

1. Open settings  .
2. Select [Account]
(log in if necessary).


3. Select [Gateway Backups].


4. Select [Save Backup].


 

5. Set the name.

6. Set password.
(Please remember the password, it cannot be reset)

7. Repeat password.

8. Finally, select [Save].

Example:

Name => V6221128

Password => 12345678

Repeat Password => 12345678


 

9. You will return to the overview of the saved backups.

 

Part 3: Loading the configuration in the Centero Home NXTn

1. Start the Centero Home NXT app on the mobile device.
2. Enter the account data.
3. Check the box [Stay logged in].
4. Select [Log in].


5. Select [Load configuration].


6. Select [Load configuration].


7. Select Configuration.

Info: If a restricted or full configuration is selected, the corresponding devices are actively displayed in the new mobile device.
 


8. Enter [Password].

9. Select [Load configuration].


 

The start screen of the Centero Home app is displayed.

A second mobile device cannot be brought into operation

Cause: Incorrect procedure

=> Solution: Loading the configuration on the new mobile device.

 

Procedure: Loading the configuration on the new mobile device

1. Start the Centero Home App on the new mobile device.
2. Enter account data.
3. Check the box [Stay logged in].
4. select [Log in].


 

5. Select [Load configuration].


 

6. Select [Load configuration].


 

7. Select configuration.
Info: If a restricted configuration or a complete configuration is selected, the corresponding devices are actively displayed in the new mobile device.


8. Enter [Password].
9. Select [Load configuration].


The start screen of the Centero Home App is displayed.


 

With a restricted configuration, only the released rooms and units are displayed.

 

Cause: Missing configuration backup.

=> Solution: Run a data backup on the main device - Backup configuration
 

Procedure: Save configuration

1. Open menu ≡ .
2. Select [Settings].
3. Select [Configurations].


4. Select [Save configuration].


5. Select [New].
If an existing data backup is to be overwritten, then [Overwrite] must be selected.


Important! Read the note in the app.

6. Enter the [Name] of the file.
(Here in the example, the device version V6 with the current date).
7. Enter [Password] .


8. Select[Save].
After saving, the image jumps back one level and the message "Configuration saved successfully" appears.

Amazon Alexa® does not detect the devices resp. start cloud export

Cause: Alexa Skill is not linked to the elero account

=> Solution: Link Alexa Skill with the elero account
 

Cause: Missing configuration backup in the cloud

=> Solution: Perform cloud export
 

Procedure: Perform cloud export

1. Open Menü ≡ .
2. Select [Settings].
3. Select [Configurations].
4. Select [Cloud-Export].


 

Important! Read the note in the app.

5. Select [Start Export].

 

6. Select [Yes]

How can I send a support request to elero

Cause: An unknown error has occurred.

=> Solution: Send configuration, gateway data and error log.

With the support request you have the possibility to send us important data for troubleshooting. No password will be transmitted.

 

Procedure: Support request

1. Open [≡ menu]
2. Select [Settings]


3. Select [Support request]


 

4. Select [Next] to exit the information screen

5. Write a short description of the error in the "MESSAGE" field

6. In the field "TICKET NO" enter the following:
For EU: CHNXTDE
For switzerland: CHNXTCH

7. Now select which data you want to send. It is usually helpful if you transmit everything.
(No passwords will be transmitted)

8. Select [SEND AS MAIL]. Your mail programme opens. Now tap on "Send".

9. If the ticket number for Switzerland is selected, the user will receive a reply e-mail stating that we will get back to you within a short period of time.

Password forgotten

Cause: Gateway password forgotten

=> Solution: Re-create gateway password 


Ablauf: Re-create gateway password

Reset the box via the reset button until the orange LED lights up => Reconnect the Box to the home WLAN => Reactivate cloud access => Re-assign password

 

Cause: Forgotten account password

=> Solution: Re-create account password


Ablauf: Re-create account password

Falls der Account der Centero Home App abgemeldet wurde, muss dieser zur Benutzung der Centero Home über die App wieder eingeloggt werden.
Manchmal kommt es vor, dass das Passwort zum Einloggen vergessen wurde.

1. [Passwort vergessen?] anwählen.


 

2. Registrierte E-Mailadresse eingeben.
3. [Link anfordern] anwählen.
4. E-Mail-Account Posteingang prüfen.
5. Link in empfangener E-Mail bestätigen (siehe Bsp. unten).
