Ms Pfänder, you have become acquainted with a wide variety of areas at elero. Now you have recently been appointed Manager of Materials Management and Demand Planning. How did you get this position?

I got to know the processes in procurement logistics through a forecasting project, which I found very exciting. At the same time, I participated in the GROW employee development programme. It turned out that I wanted to develop further in this area. So I ended up first in procurement logistics and then in the newly founded Global Demand Planning department. After about a year, I took over the department management for this area, consisting of 5 employees.

How can we imagine the tasks in Global Demand Planning?

We analyse sales figures and work on continuously improving the sales plan figures and adjusting our production capacities in the long term. The analyses not only have an influence on production planning, but also on procurement logistics. In the last few months, I have worked intensively on the conversion to Microsoft D365 and am the contact person for my colleagues here.
