Sales expert on board
Over the last 50 years, elero has become one of the world's leading drive and control technology brands. The company is now building on this upwards trend and has added another executive to its team. Thomas Schürmann joined elero at the beginning of February as sales manager in the industrial and commercial sales force. He can already look back on many years of sales and management experience in the building supplies industry, particularly in building automation. Together with General Sales manager Raimund Wurster and Key Account Manager Volker Raichle, he is now responsible for planning, organising and implementing all sales activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Individual customer service
elero works in very close contact with its customers when developing its products. Face-to-face encounters are the only way to receive honest feedback and generate new ideas to improve products and services. Thomas Schürmann is the right man to continue guiding the company on its successful course. "In future, we will be focusing even more on collaborating as partners in a fair and trusting manner," says Schürmann. "We offer our industry customers flexible individualised solutions, and trade customers see us as their partner of choice for service and customer orientation in the field of automation," he adds, echoing elero's philosophy.
With his fresh outlook, the sales specialist hopes to play a role in continuing the growth of recent years and boosting the company's market presence. Schürmann's comment: "Now that elero has spent the last few years working on development, production and quality, I and my sales team would like to play a significant role in ensuring that the many positive developments have a corresponding impact on the market. We are in the fast lane." Schürmann brings his 30 years of professional experience in the building supply industry to bear in making these goals a reality. During his time in the industry, he worked very successfully as a sales manager, for example with a well-known elero competitor in the field of building automation. Throughout all of these activities, he remained in direct contact with tradesmen. "I am really looking forward to seeing some familiar faces at the upcoming R+T trade show," Schürmann confides. Says elero CEO Jochen Lütkemeyer with conviction: "Thomas Schürmann is the ideal man for this position. We are optimistic that we will be able to establish our current product line even better on the market with his active support."
