Elero, based in Schlierbach near Stuttgart, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of electric drives and controls for roller shutters and sun protection systems. We are a completely owned subsidiary of the Italian Nice Group, multinational supplier of products in the fields of home automation, home security and smart home. Elero presides over the Sun Shading Solutions business unit, which is responsible for all the group's sun shading activities. The product range includes the applications roller shutters, textile sun protection, venetian blinds and façade with the brands Nice and elero.
 

International Business Developer -
France, Belgium, Centre & North Africa (m/f/d)

Detail Region: France and all French speaking countries in Africa 
(Cameroun, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco) and Belgium
Location: Paris/Lyon, France or Schlierbach, Germany


Your Responsibilities 

  • Increase the sales & margin level of our subsidiaries and direct customers
  • Find new customers (OEM mainly)
  • Develop the Sales of all the different brands with the Nice Group
  • Put appropriate action plans to reach the targets in volume, turnover, and margin
  • Negociate with customers respecting the sales policy
  • Assist and support the followed customers from a sale, technical, training and logistics point of view
  • Make sure to be pay on time
  • Make the forecast for areas and customers in charge
  • Make a monthly report with sales analysis
  • Implement all information into the CRM
  • Analysis and reporting of market development

Skills and attributes

  • Completed technical degree, ideally with an electrotechnical focus
  • Experience in drive and control technology, ideally in the area of sun protection and building automation
  • Several years of experience in the aforementioned activities of an international company 
  • Very good knowledge of English and French, including technical terms, both written and spoken; Arabic and/or German an advantage
  • Technical affinity, technical understanding and imagination
  • Good system know-how (MS Office, ERP system, e.g. Microsoft Dynamics D365)
  • Ability to innovate and solve problems
  • Ability to work positively with a wide range of external and internal contacts
  • International thinking, strong focus on service and customer-oriented action
  • Enjoy dealing with people internationally and have strong communication skills 
  • Experience with international cultures
  • Commitment, enthusiasm, ability to work independently and organisational skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking combined with a hands-on mentality and strong implementation skills
  • Independent, structured, and meticulous way of working
  • High degree of commitment, flexibility, reliability, team spirit and assertiveness in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical mindset and affinity for numbers 
  • Precise and result-oriented way of working
  • Class B driving licence
  • Very strong willingness to travel
