Radio technology is used whenever a high degree of flexibility is required. And if the radio receiver itself can be deployed in a variable manner – all the better! This is the thinking behind the developers at elero, and so they constructed the Revio-868 – a radio receiver which may be used with roller shutters, venetian blinds, awnings, and for light controls.

The Revio-868 can be controlled with every type of radio transmitter – be it a hand-held device or wall-mount, with or without a timer switch. It is also possible to connect it to an additional switching point at the same time. For example, an interlocked push button from the switch programme of any manufacturer may be used – either fitted with a simple radio transmitter such as the Invio-868 or as a wired variation. Thanks to its compact size, the radio receiver is easily fitted in a conventional flush-mounted plug socket. With the use of a wire jumper it may be deployed with tubular and venetian blind drives, as well as for light controls.

A multi-talented secure radio frequency
As with all its radio technology products elero uses the secure 868 megahertz frequency in the Revio-868. This frequency range is not as sensitive to interference as it may not be used by other media such as radio and television and the signal duration is limited by law to no more than a few milliseconds. Interference from mobile phones and radio headphones is therefore excluded.
