Installers are often confronted with a completely different system on-site than the one a customer previously described. Here the gigt of improvisation is needed with a technology that is as flexible as the job demands. elero takes this need into consideration by means of a new control unit for rolling doors and roller grills: the BoxControl D 400 can be installed with minimum space requirements to a high standard. The BoxControl can be easily equipped with plug-in motor, control and mains cable of differing lengths (5,8 or 10 m). This is due to removable cable glands that enable a rapid exchanging of cables.

Modular control unit for every door
In order to provide a fitting device suitable for every rolling door elero focuses on a modular structure: the new BoxControl D 400 can be equipped with one of six BoxCards that are suitable for the widest range of doors due to their functions, ranging from dead man operating mode to automatic closing. The BoxCards of the previous model are compatible with the new control unit and can still be used. A radio receiver can also be plugged in to operate the door easily.

International use with and without neutral conductor
Installers can chose from eight variations of power supply: BoxControl D 400 is available in 230- or 400-Volt and in 50- or 60-Hertz-versions respectively with our without a neutral conductor. In this way the BoxControl can be installed worldwide and control rolling doors and grills reliably. Concerning safety, elero’s door controls meet all requirements: the BoxControl is certified by TÜV and VDE according to the EN standards 12 453, 60 204 and 50 178.
