In many cases, opening a garage door involves a mammoth effort.The weight of the door itself or the tensile of the springs often present considerable resistance. In other words, everything speaks in favour of an electric drive.
The obvious addition to an electric door drive is a radio remote control with a range of at least 30 m. Interference from noise or light is completely ruled out. The hand-held transmitter allows you to open and shut the garage door without getting out of the car, regardless of whether you are arriving at home and parking in the garage or wanting to drive the car out. This is particulary pleasant when it is cold, wet or snowing. Lighting is integrated in the drive housing and is always switched on when the door is operated and goes off automatically again after approx. 3 minutes. This allows you to drive in and out of your garage safely and conveniently.

The drive - quiet and powerful
A maintenance-free direct current motor gives the quiet-running worm gear the necessary power to open or close doors with a max. thrust force of 55 kg and 80 kg respectively.
Power transmission is effected by a single-track tensioned chain on which the drive motor also runs, creating a link between the drive and the connecting rod and thus to the door. The chain is accommodated in a stable guide rail. Vibration dampers on the ceiling mounting, which prevents the transmission from irritating running noise.
What is more, the elero drive requires no maintenance at all for operation.

Optimum safety
If the normal running of the garage door drive should be obstructed by any form of resistance - regardless of direction - the drive instantly switches off smoothly. The door then automatically releases the obstacle. This always guarantees optimum safety and prevents the motor becoming overloaded if anything else "obstructs"it. The drive is equipped with a "selftutoring" power setting which regulates the ideal thrust force after a few test runs. In the event of a power failure, it is possible to operate the door by hand in emergency mode.
