Relaxing on the patio or balcony and enjoying the sunset, perhaps with a glass of wine, is one of the pleasant aspects of the summer months. Yet as dusk gives way to nighttime, it can get uncomfortably cool even in July and August. In the meantime many manufacturers offer awnings with additional radiant heaters to combat that chilly feeling. Such a combination prevents the warmth escaping upwards when the awning is open. Those wanting to treat themselves to a little more comfort can avail of a solution developed by the company elero in which the radiant heater and awning are operated using a remote control unit. Meaning the heat can be turned on and off at the push of a button.
Everything under control from the deck chair
This is made possible by the radio receiver Combio-868 HE. The inconspicuous device is affixed to the heater using a plug connection, where it receives the radio signals from the hand-held transmitter. The effect: The radiant heater can be regulated on two heating levels using the remote control. In addition, the motorised awning can be operated using the same control. Namely not only at night – in the heat of the midday sun the owners of patios and balconies can benefit from comfortable sun protection: Simply relax in the deck chair, extend the awning and enjoy the summer.
